Dear all, I have one basic question about CPU. In attachment I will post picture, Is this X presenting number 2? Does it matter which number is written in that corner? And if it does.. is it about the speed of the CPU? Or for example if I have CPU with number 1 in corner, are my possibilities limited so I can't use some OB's, SFC's etc. which are allowed to CPU with that number 9? Or am I wrong? If someone can explain me what that number in corner means I would be very grateful.. Im talking about same CPU with 2 different numbers.. With best regards, Marko |

Hello Markozg, The X is the hardware version (E-stand) have a look: Is for panel but is the same: How can you determine the "E-Stand" (hardware release) of an operator panel? |

Dear marko, In "poor word" the 01 is the first version and the 09 is the most recent you can say "improvements Hardware" |

Hello,
you can look in the delivery notes of the FW Versions if new blocks are released with the FW, normaly no change on the SFC is made.
OB, FB, FC ist usercode and not from siemens! Hw changes not documented for users! Regards Christoph |
