Sinamics S120 Encoder square Wave Output

longacre11 Posts: 7 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have wired up my encoder correctlt and all is fine. The Owner of the system wants to see the square wave encoder signal to the drive. Can I measure this is Starter Trace? Or do I need to bring another bag with a scope? Regards Nicola

Mehta Posts: 80 Rating: (6)	Hi Which drive are you using? Ckeck whether High speed Inputs are available in your drive.Then you can connect encoder channel to those input. You also need to check after connecting encoder channel to High speed Input , Starter trace should allow these input for trace recording.
