Sinamics V90+S71-200=cheap Sinumerik?

Hi,

I have the old grinding machine, it is still alive, but we want to inexpensive update it.

we have two axes for positioning (Z transverse, Y vertical),

each axis Linear Scale Encoder HEIDENHAIN LS-403.

stone speed from old DC drive.

X -hydraulics works on end switch,

we want to replace drive on Y and Z to Sinamics V90 + 1FL6061 (with encoder),

and controlled positioning of a V90 with S7 1200 via the Pulse/Direction Interface.

Exist. HEIDENHAIN Linear Scale Encoder plan not to use.

My question what do you think about S7-1200 have enough power for this task?

I think only the encoders will not be able to give us the necessary accuracy,

but if we connect Linear Scale Encoder to S7-1200 will need to make a position controller inside PLC (and this is a difficult task)…

I understand that only cheese is free/cheap  in the mousetrap but ...what if it can be done...?

at one point in time can only move one axis Y or Z,

X-axis operates independently of the hydraulics (from one endswith to the other),

 axis Y and Z accuracy = 1 micron;

Without axes external/direct feed back signal, 1micron positioning accuracy can not be achieved.

I do not know how I can test this (easy way)?

How the present machine works? Please refer the data to find out those values.

speed of new motors (1FL6) we will replace only two Y and Z, not lower than the old.

Compare the existing axes motors characterstick/data with 1FL6 motor data. This will help you to study motor speed torque characterstick.

describes the control mode  Pulse/Direction, 

but with one feedback (the encoder inside the motor, connected to Sinamics),

but if I want to use the second feedback - the real axis position (linear encoder), 

where to connect it? in the PLC?

but when I connect to PLC  need to make a position controller inside PLC (now it is inside the Sinamics)...
