Sinumerik 810D COMPCURV how? question for experts

Akifiev Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Hello, we use 3-axis cnc wood processing center with Siemens sinumerik 810D Machine was produced in 2001 year. as i know sinumerik 810D controllers have compression functions like COMPON COMPCURV and COMPCAD. So then i use this codes in program like COMPCURV i have an error 14011 function not realized .... How can i enable this function? I mill large size programs with huge G1 blocks with small steps. And where i can see what version of NCU software i have? We dont have HMI and we use MMC102 installed on PC with Windows 95. Thanx in advance

What type of OP(Operator Panel is this) ok if it is installed on the PC you can go to Diagnosis > Service Dispaly > Version > (NCU Version and HMI Version is displayed in the Softkey) Regards, Prakash

So one man tell me to edit MD xxxxx = 4H now it dont raise alarm about that command COMPCURV or COMPCAD dont realized - it works without errors but dont see effect - with COMPCAD or without, small jerks still present. Can you explain this no effect with or without compression, how can i check what it works or simple cnc ignore that COMPCAD command?

Akifiev Posts: 55 Rating: (0)	Hi, its a MD 29000 was changed from 1 to 30 - without it COMPCURV have no effect. And MD19330 was edited too.
