Hi again, Here I include WinCC_Sys_01 file of the WinCC diagnostic files for further clarity. The following message appears and I don't have idea of which it is the cause: "255,04.10.2011,07:44:42:125,1000000,4,AUTOMATICA5,DataManager Runtime, Capabilities in C:\Siemens\WinCC\bin\SIPART.chn not valid " AttachmentWinCC_Sys_01.pdf (124 Downloads) |

hello SonicRanger and thank you to respond me, Excuse that entangled of my previous explanation, but it is that I tried to give the biggest quantity in possible details. As I explained I installed the WinCC 5.1 in the Windows Advanced Server SP3, according to the siemens specifications. The WinCC is the only application that I installed in this PC,therefore there is not another that is occupying the port. I already proved that of decrease the buffer sizes of the serial port (a size of one byte for each buffer) but without positive results. I understand your point of view on the topic of the licenses, but my question is: in the case of not having licenses for the sipart driver , this could be used with all their functionalities in the DEMO mode? The bus yes it worked in some moment with a maximum of efficiency on the windows NT, but for some reason that I ignore it was disabled. Here I include the adjustments that I made to the devices of the system more clearly. Thanks in advanved I know that this it is an old system and a lot of documentation doesn't exist on this topic, but it is a simple distributed control system to which some benefit can still be taken out, and for this reason it is that I am trying to revive it. Hi again SonicRanger, I have made sure that my problem is not of licenses, i included the drivers Mitsubishi FX and serial Modbus in a test project, without licenses and they work correctly in DEMO mode. I have even reached conclusion that it is not neither a problem of configuration of the DRs. My conclusions are based on the fact that in runtime, in WinCC Explorer -> Tools -> "Status of Drivers Connections" the connections created for the mentioned drivers are shown but the connections of the sipart.chn are not shown, -why it will happen this?, - why the diagnosis of the WinCC: Capabilities in C:\Archivos de programa\SIEMENS\WINCC\bin\SIPART.chn not valid, if I am fulfilling the requirements of the operating system ??, - it will be a problem of incompatibility with the driver of the operating system for the serial port ??. Here I include a manual of the sipart.chn, take a look to this. AttachmentSIPART_Chn_english.pdf (115 Downloads) |
