hii, this is the first time i'm using siwarex fta 7mh4900-2aa01 ( also weighing system ).. i had conveyor platform that was mount on top of 4 load cell, load cell position is at the corner of the platform, the conveyor motor was mount near to one corner. with siwatool, 1. i trigger command adjust zero valid ( to make conveyor platform as dead load aka zero ) 2. i try to put load on different position on conveyor platform in static/not moving ( try at the every corner and at the center ) the weight that was display is differ for each position. 3. if i run the conveyor, it will display weight of 0.2 to 0.4 although there's no load on the conveyor attach was my test and setting.. please help. br rusli Attachmentsiwarex.zip (227 Downloads) |

Hello, I am afraid to tell that Siwarex FTA is not suitable for belt scale applications. You have 2 idlers, If it's Milltronics, then you have MMI belt scales. The best way is to use BW500 integrator or Siwarex FTC. MLFB:7MH4900-3AA01 Hope it helps.

Hello rusli saja and Ayman It sounds like a checkweigher to me and if it is the FTA is the correct module. Cheers Toppie [ |:) |

Hello rusli saja, The Siwarex FTA is correct for your application. The cause that you have a different weight value for each position of your load on the platform is that your mechanics has different influences on your load cells. If you have a different weight value for each positions, you have to do a corner load adjustment. The procedure for a corner load adjustment is described into the following manual into the chapter 6.3: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/32466622 (It doesn’t matter if you have other load cells. The procedure is the same.) With a corner load adjustment you have to connect some resistances into your junction box. If you run the conveyor and you have a weight value of 0.2 to 0.4 although there's no load on the conveyor means that you have dynamical influences of your conveyor to the load cells and you have a higher inaccuracy of your scale. Maybe you can execute the command “zeroing” during the conveyor is running and when no load is on the conveyor. Best regards Siwarexi |
