The Body Gold Member Joined: 5/13/2008 Last visit: 12/18/2019 Posts: 836 Rating: (70)	Hi, a MP377 is using Windows CE as OS, therefore you have to use "WinAC MP". The PC 477B is using the more or less ordinary Windows XPe (e stands for embedded), therefore you have to use "WinAC RTX" for embedded OS. The MP offers the operational capability for special environments (ruggedness), because a hard disk and fans are not part of the hardware design. The PC 477B is based more or less ona similarhardware what does not need a hard disk or a fan. But its fast enough and has sufficient memory to operate XPe. This means, it offers a limited openness of a PC while at the same time ensuring the ruggedness of an embedded system. Hint: Both panels should be ordered together with their special WinAC version (using the configurator), the PC 477B also together with the HMI.You should remember, that some additional installations on both panels can be very difficult (XPe) or even impossible (CE).
