BuraQ Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi Everyone, I have roblem with the software redundancy.I am trying to make redundancy between two 315 2DP CPU using MPI connection.I made hardware config and the block parameters according to the SWR Manual.However, when I try to run both CPUs, one of them always stops and creates a system fault.I checked my blocks and my FB101 block creates "W#16#8015Redundant-backup link failure."error code..I am sending my program attached.Could you please check and tell me what I am do wrong? It's very hard for me to say where the problem is but I will just try with you. Try this: 1-Define more than 2 words in DB 4 and DB 5 in both A&B. Compile your program. 2- Delete all blocks from both MMC of A&B. 3- Download and tell me if the problem is still there. Best regards. H-H

I noticed that youhad deleted the MPIsubnet and created another one in your project. Go in Netpro and double click on MPI subnet and change the last 2 numbers in S7 Subnet ID from11 to 01. Let's look again at FC100 Parameters, CALL "SWR_START" AG_KENNUNG :='A' // OK DB_WORK_NO :=DB1 // OK DB_SEND_NO :=DB2 // OK DB_RCV_NO :=DB3 // OK MPI_ADR :=3 // OK LADDR :=0 // It's irrelevant as long as redundant link is MPI but maybe there's something wrong with Zero - Change it to 256 VERB_ID :=0 //Changeit to1 DP_MASTER_SYS_ID:=1 // OK DB_COM_NO :=DB10 // OK DP_KOMMUN :=1 // OK ADR_MODUS :=1 // OK PAA_FIRST :=0 // OK PAA_LAST :=3 // OK MB_NO :=0 // OK MB_LEN :=1 // OK IEC_NO :=0 // OK- I neverhad it with Zero but it is supposed to work. IEC_LEN :=0 // OK - I never had it with Zero but it is supposed to work. DB_NO :=0 // OK- I neverhad it with Zero but it is supposed to work. DB_NO_LEN :=0 // OK- I neverhad it with Zero but it is supposed to work. Compile the whole program. Be quite sure that you delete all blocks from both MMC. Download again and try. Maybe you also need toknow return value of FC100. If it's still not working, I recommend to do the following, 1- Try the sample program provided with SWR. 2- Try to create a new project from scratch. (Me and other people had to do it before and it worked) 3- Send your program toSiemens technicalsupportand they will send you a working project if they couldn'tfix your current project. Regarding your second question, Nothing in FC 100 determines which CPU willstart as Master. CPU starts firstwill be a Master. Both become master when redundant link fails. Wish you luck. H-H

BuraQ Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, Yesterday night I solved the problem.The problem was so weird.I copied the Siemens SWR_300_MIN from the CD.I changed the hdw to make it consistent to my hdw.I downloaded the example program and it worked.Then I started to change FC100 parameters in OB100 in order to find what I did wrong earlier. In my redundantprogram firstI used only m0.0 flagbit soI wrote "1" toMB_LEN but it didn't work.Then I erasedm0.0 from the programbut MB_LEN was still "1",and the problem still existed.I changed the MB_LEN to "0" it worked again.Finally,there was nombit in my redundant program andIput"2" to MB_LEN and it worked again. Second, I'm quite happy as you could find out where the problem is. Well, I can't find anything in manualsaying thatMB length must not equal 1 or any other odd number. Anyhow, the problem is solved and another restrictionwill be considered in the future. One little thing, I had a smallproblem to open your project since it wasn't language neutral. how come Posts: 382 Rating: (47)	Dear Bura, I have one question, have you try to input MB_LEN =3 or4? Though it is not state in the manual ,but i am not sure it only accept 0,2,4,6,8,.... with regards, how come?
