tutku_dalmaz Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi friends, I have been using some other PLC's. The other have some special bits like Always ON, OFF or TOGGLE. I'm curious about s7-300, is there any special bits like Always ON?? Or do i have to create it by myself?? Thanks for your interests.

Yes in Siemens we dont have special bit,you have to Create the Always On or OFF. The CPU Clock you can configure in Hardware & then you can use the Pulses directly that you dont need to create (1 Sec ON, 2 Sec etc..) These pulses you can use to toggle depends on required frequency. You get duration of Pulse from 0.1Sec to Sec. A period duration/frequency is assigned to each bit of the clock memory byte: Attachment PLC_Clock.JPG (3240 Downloads)

And you should know theoperation blocksOB1,2,35,100 example: Startup Organization Blocks (OB100, OB101 and OB102) Cyclic Interrupt Organization Blocks (OB30 to OB38) i think that'll help you in the future selametle yusuf torun

The issue here in S7-300 is different as there are no special bits but the tools, libraries and pre-made functions, function blocks is more powerfull that what you have seen in S7-200. You can do what you want your self easily. Regards,

You can also True and False for FB/FC calls in STL. Time basis trougle bits could be configured in the HW config CPU properties.

Once you get accustom to this they will always be there and they don't take up alot of memory,This habit is left over from s5 programming dayswher eyou are really limited to available memory
