While Installing WinCC, you must select Simatic Net option. Station Configuration editor will be displayed only when Simatic Net Software is installed. I have uploaded a image so that you can get a clear idea.

Hi all, Thanks for your previous answer. Simatic Net is installed now but now I am having a problem with the Station Configurator in this new PC Client station (Windows 7 Pro + SP1) The problem: - I am trying to setup the configuration of the Station to be able to download the project configuration from Simatic Manager - In the "Add Component" window of the Station Configurator when I open the "Type" dropbox the only options that I have are "Application" and "OPC Server" whereas when I setup the other PC clients which have been running on site for more than a year, I had all the usual options including "WinCC Client Application". I already compare installed software versions and everything matches between the running PC clients and the new PC that I am trying to setup now. I tried to reinstall all over again WinCC v7.0 + SP3 and Simatic Net PC Software v8.1 + SP1 (including windows) and I am still having the same problem. I have attached the exported file of the Installed Software for the new PC and a screen capture showing the Station Configurator issue. Do you have any idea why this could be happening?? I look forward to hearing from you soon. Attachment130625 - Windows 7 Client PC.zip (825 Downloads) |
