Hello, this or similar topics have already been discussed here in forum Simatic S7-1200 on Vista 64 or Windows7 64. Step7 Basic & Windows 7. I have not been able to establisch the connection between my computer and the S7-1200 PLC. Can you help me introduce install step 7Basic v10.5 on laptop using OS Windows 7 64bit?. I use XP Mode for Portal development. I have 2 different xp mode virtual machines. One runs TIA Portal 10.5 SP2 (legacy code) and one runs TIA Portal V11 SP1. In this way, I can keep separate copies of the software. You can typically only work in one of the virtual machines at a time as they eat up your system memory. |
