Step7 Proffessional 2010 Licence does not work

memet Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have installed the Step7 Proffessional 2010 update package including Step7 v5.5 I transferred the licence to my hard drive and I can see it with the Automation License Manager. But now the Simatic Manager won't start. It gives the "licence not found" warning and closes automatically. Is there an additional procedure to activate this license other than transferring with the ALM? Any help appreciated. Thanks Mehmet Attachment screenshot.JPG (141 Downloads)

memet Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	KSN You have an Upgrade license. To make a full license select menu License Key > Upgrade. Did not work. I selected the upgrade licence from the list and clicked Upgrade. Tried the same for Step7 v5.4 license. I receive the message "No matching upgrade license keys found" The problem still exists. Any other suggestions? dipakkadam_619 Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hello, So I have run into a similar problem. The difference being, my simatic manager worked for a while after the upgrade to V5.5 but now it is giving me exactly the same errors.\ Was there a resolution to this problem...????

MM1234 Posts: 270 Rating: (52)	Hello dipakkadam_619, as UMENCHO asks, the screenshot from ALM is kinda necessary to help you. The reason mostly for why it worked for a while (14 days, maybe?) is, that you get a 14 day trial with installing the software. Most probable causes are two - you moved the upgrade license but didn't upgrade (click the old version you want to upgrade and select in menu Licence Key > Upgrade) or you are trying to match professional edition upgrade on "normal" (not professional edition) older version. Anyway, add that screenshot to be sure on the answer.
