STEP7 v5.5 and PCS7 v7.1

danijelp Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi! I have problem with this. I integrate STEP7 project in PCS7 project over CP342-5. With version STEP7 v5.4 I can download LAD/FBD/STL from ES to S7-300 proccesor, but with STEP7 v5.5 download icon is not available. I saw in some thread that is needed to change from PCS7 project to STEP7 project in properties of project, but here this is not possible because S7 project is part of PCS7 project. Then you would be able to change it's type from PCS7 to STEP7. Something like on the picture. I think it is not so important to keep all the Centrifuga's S7-300 PLCs in one project with BHAS4 S7-400 CPU. So recommend changing the structure of the multiproject to BHAS4 with S7-400 and BHAS4Cent with S7-300. What do you think? Excuse me if I didn't correctly understand the meaning of those PLCs.. danijelp Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thank You for Your answer. Ufortenately, it is not possible because I'm taking data from S7-300 and sending other data back to S7-300. If the S7-300 and 400 are not in the same project, it is not possible to make this data exchange, I can't connect CP342-5 to CP443-1 (picture). Attachment STEP7 and PCS7_1.jpg (86 Downloads)

danijelp Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	I tried to merge profibus network, but I can't couple (or connect) S7-300 with S7-400 if they are not in same project. HW config can't read NetPro in this case.

Have a look at capture 10.8 (Networking Stations from Different Projects) in the following manual: SIMATIC Configuring Hardware and Communication Connections STEP 7 V5.5 Hope it will work with PCS 7 too Good luck Sabine
