THis is very strange behaviour to all the version of STEP7. You don't know when this happen but if you copy the Code and delete the network, then Paste same code in new Network of STL editor and then save the block. Then this will be Ok again. Try this , let us know. |

Hello Vasya I suspect "Type check of addresses" is ticked and causes the problem (assumption: variable "#di_refpos" is of type DINT in which case the LAD/FBD type check of addresses "complains" about the "OD" instruction which expects DWORD data types and will lead to the network being displayed in STL). To fix it, open any block, go to the Options menu, select Customize and untick "Type check of addresses" in the LAD/FBD tab. I hope this helps |
Cheers |

Hello! Whats is the drawback of unchecking the "Type check of addresses" in the LAD\FBD editor? I have the same problem, a quite big network, which will only appear in stl (when "Type check.." is enabled). To me it is very comfortable to just uncheck this "Type check..", but will the compiler still notify me as usual if I make some programming error, or Im I in any risk diabeling this funcyion? |

Hello, The only risk is that you are able to write "wrong" data types to anything, sometimes youwant that, sometimes not. I suggest that you leave it on and only if you are sure your logic is righ or want to read the code in FBD to turn it off. Regards, Marcjan |

Hallo, I'm in the same situation....I found out that this option become gray after the installation of Hotfix 8 OR Hotfix 11. As you can see in attachment, the option "type check of addresses" (in italian "Controllo tipo di operandi") in STEP7 5.5 with SP4 can be enabled/disabled. I keep it enabled and after Hotfix 11 installation it became disabled and unchangeable. The same with hotfix8. (i'm working in Win7 64) Some Solutions? Thanks Cristian |

No. I mean, it came with HF3, but I'm not quite sure. If you want back the option, you must install STEP7 V5.5 SP4 without Hotfixes. |
