bathoi Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	In S7-200 i easy to storage a value in memory and it doesn't remove when i cut power. In S7-1200: Example: I move a value (10.0) into MD100, and it have nothing when i cut power Help me please!

bathoi Posts: 28 Rating: (0)	I try to set retain in PLC tag, and it ok (success) but it limit on MB0 to MB 1448 byte. I want to storage with big memory. Example 5000byte? in S7-200, data memory of CPU 224 is 8192 byte, it bigger than CPU S7-1200 (2048 byte retentive area) how can i sotrage with 5000 byte, or 1MB ? thank for your help

Use a storage card in the memory slot. Sadly, you cannot remove the card while the PLC program is running, or it halts the PLC if I remember correctly.

Unlike S7-200 where super cap is used to retain whereas in S7-1200 it stores retained data in internal flash memory. SIMATIC Memory Card will not be helpful in increasing the retentive memory except the load memory. The 2048 byte total is shared between M and DB memory
