Check this if it helps you. In STEP 7 V11 how do you configure data blocks with the "Only store in load memory" attribute for the S7-1200?

Solved the problem: I created a Data_Block with a struct inside containing my data. When the data changes I use the instruction Writ_DBL to save the datablock to the load memory, you can use either the internal Load memory (flashcard not needed) or flashcard. When power returns after faillure I read out the First_Scan_Bit wich trigger the Read_DBL instruction to load back from the load memory. hope this will solve your problem

If we still need in the other CPUs also, then we need to wait for a while. Yes, the new S7-1200 FW3.0 versions have more memory, and more retentive memory, plus a battery backup option (as a signal board) that should hold data for up to a year if I read the documentation correctly. The S7-1215 on my desk looks ready to go solve some problems from 2 years ago.
