Should I need to install it on OS-Client or can Irun it along withan OS-Server. Note that I have only one machine which will work as operator station as well as MIS Regards, Raheel.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi, as April mentioned the release notes will give you some more info. Storage plus is to be installed by using the PCS7 frame-setup. There you just install Storage, NO OS-client, NO OS-server. => you need a PC just with the originalMicrosoft operating system (as it is e.g. delivered with your simatic PC) By the way .NET V2.0 must not be installed on your PC for using Storage. nemo

Also they suggest to install.NET framework V1.1. If Ifollow your suggestions, should I need to install message queying along with SQL 2000 SP3?

Also I have done one thing, On a remote WinCC machine, wincc is generating db files in its archive folder, and I tried to remotely access those file though storage plus. but this is also not working. Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	I must tell that I tried something with storageplus. at First I installed it on es station with wincc. (which is not reccommended) and when I installed necessary components, and setted wincc's long term archive options, then i started wincc runtimeon same machine (which is not reccomended also) it saw 2 servers in editor and it started to work. ( I just tried it senslessly and it worked someway) but the problem is this, i couldnt connect remotely to it. So if you cant connect to it why is it using iis ? I wanted to see graphs from other countries so, I wanted to put storageplus on that network and connect it from here but I think the programs main idea was not to work like that, and its using iis just because the guy who writes it, he wrote it in asp .. am I wrong ? I must be wrong and we must connet remotely to it :)
