Hello mattar1989, Please check below points. 1. Is Y axis vertical axis? 2. Does Y axis has motor in built brake? 3. Does Y axis has hydraulic counterbalance weight? (in case if it is vertical axis) 4. Does Y axis has external scale or encoder feed back? If the answer to above questions is yes, I suggest you to check Y axis hydraulic counter balance cylinder pressure, chain, sprocket, bearings, brake pressure, Y axis mechanic, bearings, lock nuts etc. etc. In case if it has external feedback (scale or encoder) I suggest you to switch on motor encoder feedback (for trail) & check if any change is observed. At standstill, abnormal sound observes when motor draws more current to overcome restriction due to mechanics to maintain/retain its position. Hope this helps. |

Hello, Please refer attached sheet which explains drive optimization. Please note it is required to be carried out during start up or commissioning & does not change unless & until there is major change in load. I suggest you, instead of conducting dive optimization, try by adjusting Y axis MD 32200 POSCNTRL_GAIN & Y axis drive MD 1120 CURRCNTL_GAIN, one by one & check the results. Hope this helps. I have removed the bellow coupling that transmits motor torque to lead screw. Unfortunately, the vibration and noise was still extreme. Please refer to the attached video. The motor is completely free to rotate. Feedback encoder is on the back of the motor as you know. So, there should be no reason for the broken coupling to cause this issue. Hello, You mentioned motor has inbuilt brake. Please provide 24V DC external supply to motor brake, of course in motor power switched OFF condition & check motor shaft free rotation. This will confirm brake release operation. If motor brake operation or supply is a problem, you could also observe motor vibration & noise. Another point is check LT power module which supply power to motor. Please refer attached sheet which will help you to check LT power module by multi-meter.
