Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	Hi, Something I recently found might help you: LookupText. This will give your a string output. The value you get will be determined by the value of the configured tzg and the corresponding configured textlist. And ofc in the configured language. Say tag value is 5, textlist for value 5 is "Test nr 5", then the output string will be "Test nr 5". Atm thats the only way I know to get access to textlist items using vbs. Hope it helps

Iam Posts: 80 Rating: (4)	hi I got it, multiplex tag is the right solution for that to avoid scripting Create multiplex tag and assign the index of that multiplex tag to the combo box process tag. and then.........................it works. Iam

But -you canget the index ofa text listif you project an Symbolic IO Field with a tag and a text list. You have to know that the text of an text list is a static text. So at start i dont know how many texts and what texts will be in text list. Any ideas? i need something like textList.CreateRecord = Value, Text.......
