Robert_Chelny Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi, having problems with the loss of the connection of modems CP1242-7 (FW1.2.1) and telecontrol server (V2 +HF1). tested in two modes: permanent and temporary. the manual says: If the connection is interrupted, the CP attempts to re-establish the connection at 15 minute intervals. but this does not happen. the same function does not work:Telephone wake-up call as the software will automatically restart the CP1242-7?in the modem MD720-3 - this option was - reinitializing help me, please

Robert_Chelny Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	Hi! The problem is not solved, it seems, the developers need to release a new version HSP1242-7 or firmware for modem. Now the problem is solved, if you turn off and turn on the modem what experts have to say?

Robert_Chelny Posts: 16 Rating: (0)	think the problem is solved - it's show time. block TCCON periodically return errors - 80E3, if it was 2-3 cycles block TCDISCON. solution - you need a delay before executing the block TCCON

I sent an SMS with the text "CPDIAG" to the modem and that this response: CP1242-7 v1.3.0 CPU State: RUN GPRS logged in Attach:2009-1-1 0:0:32 Network: Megafon RUS IP:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (herestatic IP) Signal Quality: good RSSI:31 Telecontrol: not connected TCS Status: waiting for reconnection timer Last Error: connection closed by peer

Some time ago I created, with success, working system: the machine with 1200PLC + CP1242-7 and my laptop with TeleControl Server Basic 008, connected to internet via Router, in which I had to arrange port forwarding, the rest of the settings I have done in my project (via CMT tool) and PLC configuration of the module (just the same settings e.g. project nummer, passwords etc.).At my office it worked OK. It worked also when the machine was about 200 km away in Netherlands, thus in the same country. Now the machine is in Russia and the only thing I know is that it is in the area where there is a GSM coverage. I can always call people there. SIM card/ subscription is with the roaming, I was secured by the provider that it will perfectly work in Russia. But since the machine went abbroad I have never could connect with the PLC. In the TCM tool I see that there is no connection, If I try to go online in my TIA Portal V11.5 Iget the message that "Telecontrol server cannot be reached". How can I check whether the TelecontrolServer is running on my laptop? It should be some sevice or process taht should be in state "running" but I cannot find it, neither I cannot find the answer on internet. I cannot find out what the LEDs of the module are saying, tomorrow I will know (maybe). I would appreciate if someone could explainthis matter / help.

The stations is not connected to the server. > Either find out what the LEDs show (especially Network) or (having a Firmware > 1.2.1) send a SMS to the CPs phonenumber with CPDIAG as text. This should response the current status, including GPRS connected or not. GSM does not necessarily include GPRS, since GRPS requires additional hardware at the provider. > The fact you can call people there says nothing at all. 2. The Step7 error message is about the connection from Step7<>TCSB. Otherwise the error would be "Station not reachable" Both are running on the same PC right? > Check whether the IP set in CMT : Main matches the one of the network adapter. Or try 127.0.0.1 The statusbar should have a littel TCSB symbol, hold down CTRL + ALT and double click that. There will be a console with some additional information. >Have a look at the status in the bottom

My problem is that I have no much experience with TCSB and GPRS communication, this was learning project for me... I will check the IP settings andstatus bar, I think it is or some little thing or problem there in Russia, because all have worked good. I will post when the problem is solved. Bye!
