well ,when I test in the CP5431 by COM5431 , it shows " Layer 2 link is established " ,but it doesn't work . The " Stop " indicator lits always . |

Hello, Here some ideas more. The module is equipped with a DC/DC converter 24V to 5V. Are you sure the 24V is available from the PS of the PLC (see LED on the PS of the PLC). Are you sure you have plugged the CP on a slot for CPs? The minimum is a place with two connectors. But still, please verify depending on the used rack. In this manual http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/1804226 Red STOP LED lit, green unlit STOP - HDB data exchange between CP and CPU via the backplane bus blocked (evaluation of the PAFE error message possible: refer to Section 7.3.2 or 8.1.3). Are you very sure that the CP is synchronized? In the example that you mentionned, the basic SSNR = 8 in the CP INIT, with 1 interface. This means that SSNR = KY0,8 must be used on all blocs. Be sure no other CP uses the same SSNR. The FB synchron must be called in all startup OBs (OB21, OB22 and also OB20 if 135/155U). Don't forget to make a stop/run of the CPU. If you want to evaluate the PAFE parameterof the SYNCHRON bloc, choose afree MB. Another Help could be thefault LED The fault LED is lit permanently or flashes when the firmware of the CP detects an error (refer to Table 4.2 in the manual). The flashing frequency is an indication. |
