Hi there. 190B has provided a brilliant piece of coding to explain how a setpoint can be created. One of the counters at the end of the circuit could be used as a setpoint number. I am providing a simplified method built onto the method you have provided. In this design I have also a counter to provide a setpoint that is adjusted via I1 and I2 (digital inputs). You will see that the counter feeds into a compare function. Also going into the the compare function is an analog signal. This design does not attempt to do the correct signal conditioning and it provides for a very rough adjustment (10 increments and with multiplier). I am not trying to give you the whole design. I am only trying to give you design direction. I would strongly advise you to make use of the consept that 190B has provded to make a a setpoint and combining with what I provide. I am unsure to what you are using as a "probe". It can mean so many things. Kindly provide more information if you are giving feedback to ask for more help.
