Dear Zakirov, The is an existing FAQ #109750270 which helps to find solutions in case of issues with the Web client. Link is: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109750270 (this is for Intranet and Extranet users only). I copy one part of the FAQ describing the most probable root cause: Symtom: Unknown Error After successfully launching the website and clicking the Web Client, once the application download apparently finishes, a timeout occurs followed by a message. This error is mentioned in the Desigo CC online help with a note to contact support. Details were not provided there as end customers have also access to this content. There are two ways how to resolve this issue: First and easiest solution is to implement this Microsoft fix to the ClickOnce application on every client machine which will connect to the CC via web: “By default, client computers have 250 MB of storage for online ClickOnce applications. Data files do not count toward this limit. A system administrator can enlarge or reduce this quota on a particular client computer by changing the registry key, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Deployment\OnlineAppQuotaInKB, which is a DWORD value that expresses the cache size in kilobytes. For example, in order to increase the cache size to 512 MB, you would change this value to 512000 decimal value.” A value of 1024000 should be fine for all situations. Second solution is intended for advanced users, is less recommended and can be done in two steps: Reduce the size of the …\GMSMainProject\bin\XBAPFullTrust folder by removing unused languages and/or help files. Then recreate the web project anew. Be aware that if help files of particular language are removed and then a user will try to log in with that missing language, then loading the application will get stuck on “loading help files”. Best regards, Albis |
