Tia Portal can't Upload program

Cinger15 Experienced Member Joined: 7/17/2014 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	I have downloaded a program on to a PLC S7-1200 using an earlier version of the software (13.0.0) , and now i am trying to upload that program to a project so i can have a backup of the program . It says i have an incompatible version but my version is 13.0.1 . I have found out that I cant upload a program that was created in TIA 11 or TIA 12 either. Am i doing something wrong ? Is there a way that i am not familiar for uploading the program? Im posting a picture with my problem. Attachment Upload error.jpg (1724 Downloads)

From the screen it look that you have offline programblocks which are compiled with V13.0.1 and offline only V13.0.0. So the Upload is not possible, but you can upload the complete Offline stataion to a new project/Station or xreate a Backup of the data in Archive format. Regards Christoph

Cinger15 Experienced Member Joined: 7/17/2014 Last visit: 10/11/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (1)	Tnx for the quick respons, I created a new project and station and then went online with the station , the transparent programblocks then appear and i tried to upload the online version to my new project/station and then get an upload error.While online i can see the programblocks but when i enter some of them that don't have an error the blocks are empty. How can i upload the complete station offline and be able to see the ladder diagram and change the program? I tried the archiving method but when i archive does transparent blocks that seem empty when i enter them they are archived empty I have no use from them then... When i try to copy the program blocks folder from the Online access folder into the Project folder i cant do that because it doesn't let me drag them to the new project and i'm unable to paste them. Upload a device as a new station can't be done because the PLC firmware is 3.0 , i get that error while uploading. Online backup is not supported , i get this error when i try to Backup from an online device.
