TIA Portal- Date to String?

Steve8676 Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	How can i convert Date to String? I've used the T_CONV to convert the local time to a DATE. But i now want to convert the Date to String. So i can add this to another String. I.E "2014-01-01 FileName" Thanks Steve.

On other hand DTL is a struct of individual integer values (year, month, day, hour, minute, seconds, etc.). I suggest you build your own block for the conversion, conveting each field (year, month, day, hour, minute, seconds, etc.) individally and build, with concat instruction your own string standard.

Look up the prinscreen and make SCL function block the same as mine. Of course you can make it more sexy and replace ' 1' with '01'. I needed my string to be passed to SQL so it did not matter.
