I'm on TIA portal V16 and i can't find a way to add festo's drive controllers in the hardware catalog. 

I want to add the CMMT-AS-V1

Hello Danny;

To integrate a Festo module (or any 3rd-party equipment) in a Step 7 configuration, it must have a Profibus or Profinet communication interface, and the accompanying GSD or GSDML file that allows integration in the hardware configuration.

The following link will show you downloads for the CMMT Profinet from Festo, the first available package contains the GSDML file for the CMMT-AS...-PN model (required for Profinet exchanges).
