TIA v12 Wincc simulation no communicates with PLCsim

Alex_Rider Advanced Member Joined: 6/30/2010 Last visit: 5/27/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi all: I spend the last two days searching information about this problem in the forum, and I've tried all sollutions suggested in other threads, without any good result. I'm trying to test an application with a s7-1500 and a TP1200 confort in my laptop. I've configure the PG/PC interface to PLCSim s7-1200/s7-1500, then I load the PLC in the PLCSim, and the, start the HMI simulation without any result.(See attachment). My company have a Simatic Laptop, and if a copy the project to this laptop, the simulations runs perfectlly. I have do the same thing in booth laptops, with differents results, in my laptop the simulation does not work, and the same project, with the same configuration, runs ok in the simatic laptop. The OS is win7 in the two laptops, the only thing i see different is that my laptop is x64 and the simatic one is x32. The HMI simulation runs OK if I connect to a real PLC. The booth laptops have TIA Portal v12 SP1 Update3 installed. Thank you! Attachment PLCSim vs HMI 1.jpg (1024 Downloads)

The PLCsim runs OK, but the HMI simulation no connect with the PLCSim. I can manipulate variables into the PLC without any problem using the TIA v12 PLCSim, the PLC i've got is a S7-1511, but when I try to test the HMI program, the HMI no connect to the PLCsim, all variables appers like #####, I can't change any value, etc. Thanks

The last week I installed TIA portal V13, and uninstalled TIA v12. With V13 all works OK. Maybe it was an installation problem, I dont know. But answering your question, I had the same version in all the salftware. If any component have different version, TIA portal does not run. Thank you!!!
