Yet another TIA version. Does it work on Windows 10, preferably the last one? Or you might need to downgrade the OS to an older version, like 5 yrs older?

 Works perfectly with the latest Win10 updates. There's only one nasty bug, that will be fixed in Update 1, that is due to released next month.

I already had a crash while playing but that seems the "normal" tia way but is not encouraging. It still seems possible to get a project in an inconsistent state without knowing it. As if there where no transactions invented yet.

Yes, you are right.. i had several times TIA V16 crash.. update 1 is required as soon as possible.

 If you open a FC, that has Network comments, TIA 16 will crash.

Has this bug been fixed yet? Determining if I should start a project on V16 or V15.

 The update has not been published yet, that fixes this problem.

Sorry, the problem was not the network comment. If Ladder has comments on, then the crash happened.

This version is planned for February 2020.

 As far I know, it's the same behaviour as from 1st TIA version. I have full of different directories on my PC of different projects, it drives me mad.

Also, if you close the TIA, the next time you open it will show some different project as the recent one, you have to pay attention - perhaps writing the latest version on a piece of paper, or remembering the latest name.  You may not believe not a single shortcut that TIA offers you, it will always take you in the wrong way. I do use file explorer and search for *.zap files then sort from newest to oldest, it's the only way to get the latest project and store location.

 I take it you meant same behavior since first version of TIA V16 not fir TIA version period. In that case I agree, I've had the same issue since TIA V16 was released and had hoped it would be fixed with updates but that did not happen. Previous versions work just fine.

I have. 

Setting the project location works as intended but not so the library location. Library location *alwyas* opens up project location. I changed both locations many times to everywhere possible (for testing) and project location always works and library location always opens up project location.

So I take it that doesn't happen to you!

I tested two versions, both have TIA 16 Pro, one with WinCC unified and one with WinCC Pro and both did not save Global Library location and instead opened up Project location.

Both are installed on virtualbox VM.

Who's go virtualbox with similar setup?

Here's a clip of what's going on and my settings.

If instead check option fro Recently used storage location, the same will happen, opening a project will open the last folder used and opening a library will also open the project last folder not library.

I don't recall ever using corporate settings on any of the past versions and here's this one:
