TIP: Use of Screen window in WinCC Professional V1X

Hi

Thanks for your guidance. But i have a problem. There is no screenwindow icon in my TIA Portal V12 hmi screen unlike you said in your manual word file. if it is possible tell me how to add this icon to my  TIA Portal V12.

unhappily the screen window is a feature just available as from V13 SP1.

I installed TIA V13 on my computer but as like as TIA V12 there is no screen window icon on my controls options (TIA V13).

There is an add/remote control icon on toolbox, but it is locked. I think we can add screen window by use of this icon! Please help me.

It is very common in automation, use of supervision and control systems in plants / machines with high complexity.

To maintain a high degree of efficiency, it is necessary to provide to operator an overview of what is happening, keeping it clear of excessive details.

To keep this "clean" view of what is happening is common to have operating screens with large numbers of objects, but leaving visible just the main information of them and showing details about a topic just by operator action (e.g. mouse click), in a window that opens on the screen.

This feature of windows that "open" and "close" with details of the main screen has several names in the market (like "pop up window", "faceplate window" or "control window").

In WinCC Professional V1X this function is done by "window screen" object and some additional settings. The "visible" property of this object is used to hide the window when not needed. To use the same "windows screen” for show information of several objects, it should be use the feature "tag prefix" (dynamite of names that follow some rules).

In next project I have to use TP1500 comfort.

Presently I am using TIA V13.

Will I get feature of screen window if I upgrade to TIA V13 + SP1
