Tool Convert S7-200 to S7-1200 using for TIA Portal V11

William_B Posts: 5225 Rating: (1196)	Hi. There are two converter tools available. One is for TIA V10.5 and another for TIA V11. Recently I enquired about this. The local Siemens provided me with the tool. I have not checked the download link myself. I do not know which version is offer in this. The local Siemens guys also gave me a document that lists things you have to do to make the convertion process more easy. That is a MUST read in my opinion. There are some few tricks that I employ that makes the process easier. What I will advise.. Edit as much coding inside Microwin to make the process easier. Brake down the program into several smaller programs. Then after converting.. start editing the TIA files so that the several projects can again be integrated into one. Good luck. w

Every user with an outstanding knowledge in Siemens products can become an expert. It is only a prestige rank without great benefits. All experts do their work here for free. They only get the blue background and the expert stamp. They spending their free time and try to help as many user as they can. Best regards Min_Moderators
