Torque protection

I am looking at protecting some geared motors from over torque. . I have looked at a mechanical system to protect the geared motors from over torque but it is very expensive and too hard to retro fit. Alsowe would like to be able to monitor the geared motors health (condition monitoring). I think there is a Simocode system that will do condition monitoring called Siplis but I need to find out if the simocode will be able to protect the gearbox also. I am fairly sure it should be able to protect the motor but what I need to do is protect the gearbox also from overload.
Can i do this with Simocode or other Siemens equipment, we just need fixed speed.

Or does Siemens offer a sensor which we could fit at the gearbox shaft that will feed back to the Simocode and then trip at the point we set. Any ideal and sugguestion please.
