Hi guys, I would appreciate your answers to my following question. Given : -Velocity of moving load -Rotational speed (motor-drum) -Time nedeed to stop (1s) -Mass of moving load (250T) -Moment of inertia(motor-gearbox) How should I calculate the torque/speedcharacteristic? Attached you'll find the motor torque/speed characteriscs given my the manufacturer. Thanks! Hello Andy312, SIZER for Siemens Drives provides functionality to enter mechanical information such as many different mechanical systems to calculate and provide feedback for the torque vs. speed characteristic for a load. Most likely SIZER for Siemens drives will not have this specific motor's motor data loaded into the program, but the addition of the motor inertia / gearbox ratio / can be calculated via the equations pdf shared on previous responses. Link to SIZER for Siemens Drive download files follows. I recommend not attempting to install CAD functionality since drawings can be accessed via CAD Creator on the world wide web. https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&siteid=csius&aktprim=0&extranet=standard&objid=10804987&DataKey=10804987&treeLang=en Deputy |
