Totally integrated automation portal has encountered a problem and needs to close

Besides posting in this topic, what have you done to resolve the problem yourself?

I had the same problem when trying to connect online. The error message popped up and I had to restart the program. I then transferred the system data to the CPU in the hardware config. I was then able to reestablish an online connection without the error message popping up.

 I have the same problem when connecting online, how can I fix it?

I have never had more than 3 portal instances running at once, and then, only briefly.

I often find myself with 2 portal instances running as I drag n drop between projects (to fix internal carryover glitches that prevent project upgrades).  If you have 32GB RAM, you should not be having problems with 2 instances open at once.

If you *think* you need 3, consider this..   Create a new project, maybe name it "combined_projectID".  Open 2nd portal instance.  Open first project that you want to copy from.  Drag into the new combined project.  Close the project you are copying FROM.  Open 2nd project you want to copy from.  Drag into the new combined project.  Repeat until all other other project information is collected into the combined project.

Now, save this as into a global library so you never have to do that again.

I am trying to solve the problem by keeping the TIA Portal up to date. But the problem reappears in certain situations. The problem reoccurs if you open multiple TIA Portal projects from the same computer. My advice, if you need to open more than one project on one computer, you should use a virtual computer.

Sorunu TIA Portal'ı sürekli güncel tutarak çözmeye çalışıyorum. Ancak sorun belirli durumlarda tekrar ortaya çıkıyor.
