I have managed to enter calibration "window", and I have clicked on the + sign, but it seems endless procedure because it did not finished "recalibration". What could be the problem, and can I solve this problem by just reboot or update the operating system? Warm regards. Tomy.

Dear all, I have the same problem my touch panel is TP177MICRO touch screen software is WinCC flexible Advanced 2008 After I download the program to HMI. Only the button align at left of screen worked well. Then I try to calibrate the HMI screen, I found that I even cannot go to "control panel" at all. Then I use "calibrate touch screen" function, it direct me to "calibrate" page, and it's an endless page unless I reboot the system. I also try this method on another two more touch screen, still have same problem. So I think might be the touch screen OS problem. Any one can help me on this problem? Have you tried to perform an OS update with the option 'Reset to factory settings'? Best regards, Wizard

I already do the OS upgrade for TP177Micro touch screen " Image version: V01.04.00.02_01.02" my touch screen part number is 6AV6 640-0CA11-0AX0 (Check the attachment picture, it's in screen calibration function, but it's endless unless i reboot the touch screen) Since I try to download to three touch screens and get the same problem. I guess that the hardware it's not compatible with latest OS? Any idea about this problem? Thanks a lot Attachment calibrate touch screen shot.JPG (283 Downloads)

ZOEZHAO Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi Wizard, We decide send the device back to Siemens. Siemens technical support also said this problem is very rare. We try our last hope, the 4th TP177micro touch panel. Finally we can go into control panel, and we found is the screen alignment defect. (See attachment photo) When we press tab"Touch"(which is used to do the calibration), the tab"Display" was highlighted. It's very obvious the function button shift to right by half of the screen. And this problem is cannot be fixed by just update OS. We even try change flexible from 2005 to 2008, and update different vision of OS, still get the same result. So anyone have same problem with me just send the device back to Siemens. Attachment OP Properties.JPG (280 Downloads)

zgrdg Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi; I have the same problem however i don't have to chance to send panel to Siemens. This panel is on a working production line and we don't have the program codes to set new panel. So i can not change the panel also and it's very hard to reset any alarm due to screen shift to right. Does anybody know that how can we stop this endless calibration procedure without sending panel to Siemens?
