Hello SRAHarring If your panel is not able to boot into operating System you can only try to do a reset to factory settings: Here the official FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/19701610 Bye Murof |

Hi, As we have previously commented on this type of failure, the usual procedure that must be followed in these cases is the following: - Remove power from the panel and reconnect it. - Check if the ports respond. If so, reset to factory settings ("How do you do a SIMATIC HMI operating system update (firmware update, OS update) on operator panels or perform a "Reset to factory settings"?") and check if the touch screen works . - If the reset is successful, update it to the latest version available in the TIA Portal. If none of this works, especially the reset, I'm sorry to tell you that you should take the screen for repair since its panel is defective or toasted. Best regards! |
