Hello I am trying to make a "Reset to factory settings" panel TP1500 Comfort. I read all of: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/document/19701610/how-do-you-do-an-%22operating-system-update%22-(os-update)-or-%22reset-to-factory-settings%22-on-operator-panels-?dti=0&lc=en-WW and https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/ww/en/posts/hmi-stuck-in-bootloader-screen-how-to-fix/108420/?page=0&pageSize=10 Nothing helps. ProSave can not see the panel. The cable is used as a patch or cross. Reconnecting to the X1. What other way can reset the panel to its original state? |

Hello Roboman I had teh situation a few times that the Transfer is started after a few minutes. So check these hints: - Has your Computer a fixed IP Adress? - Open PGPC INterface settings in Control Panel on Computer - YourNetworkcard.TCP/IP.1f or S7ONLINE Accesspint - disable your anti Virus Software - use a Crossover Ethernet Cable direct without Swich or Hub - Open Simatic Prosave - use an IP Adress that is in the same Subnet as your Computer - go to Update OS-> check the Option "Reset to Factory settings" - type in the MAC Adress of the correct LAN Port of the Panel!!!!(is listed on the Back) - Start the Panel until the Panel is in Mode "Waiting for Image Update" - Do OS Update and do not restart the Panel - Wait for about 10 minutes - Watch if there is something going on (look if the Link LED of the LAn ports i)s flashing

Thanks for the advice, but it looks like I have a very severe case. 1) On the PC a static IP address 2) In the PG / PC Interfake in Access Point S7ONLINE is YourNetworkcard.TCP / IP.1f 3) Anti virus - off 4) Use a cross cable directly from the PC 5) IP address is set in the same subnet 6) MAC address is copied from the display panel to the appropriate port 7) Run the update, and to enable the panel and after. 10 minutes waiting, too. Nothing changes, "Please boot the HMI device ..." |

It is not that simple. In WinCC, the panel is not defined, and make a point "2. Select the" Update operating system "command in the" Online> HMI device maintenance "menu on the configuring PC in WinCC" is not possible, all the settings are gray and can not be changed. |
