As you can see in the attached image, there are several ways to perform a factory reset of the 177B panel via Prosave without using a PPI cable. Hope this info will help you. BR Hello Sundance00 This is NOT correct! you can only perform a Reset to factory settings with a TP177B 6" PN/DP with: - RS/232 PPI-MM cable 6ES7 901-3CB30-0XA0 - USB PPI MM calbe 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0 -->> No other cable will work (the other options in Prosave are only for a common OS Update or Backup/Restore but not for a Factory Reset!) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/19701610 Bye Murof

I used the Prosave tool to check the different alternatives it offered for this particular device (as you can see in the attached image in my previous post) and so I thought the options were valid. (It depends alwayson the panel which communication cables or protocols you can use for this) (the easiest way is to check the table in the Reset to factory FAQ in the Prosave manual) Bye Murof
