New standard lap tops do not have COM ports anymore instead the have USB ports. Using a USB/COM converter doesn´t work since WInCCFlexible cannot recognize the virtual port. According to OP77B manual we need a host-to-host USB cable. Has anybody tried this? Can you recommend a supplier for this cable? Regards Nestor Guzman |

Problem solved. We used a cable manufactured by BAFO Model BF100C. However, you must be careful with the driver. The cable only works when you use the driver than comes in the WinCC Flexible Disc 2. |
