I have a problem with segnalation on the OP177B: every time I see an alert warning, in reality it displays two.....es: I have a bit that I call the alarm signal "error 001"..... when this bit is high, I get the alert ... and so far everything ok.... but the bit when it changes, I will reappear again the same warning alarm ....!! it seems that the reporting of alarm display at each change of status bits.. You can show only the alert warning with the rising edge of the bit? Bye-bye Roby

But it doesn't, because in general properties I have selected warning archive and not warning or warning event. You understand what I need? When the warning is ON I have one row in history warning table. When the warning is OFF I havean otherrow in history warning table. I want just one row when the warning is ON (rising edge of the bit). Thank you very much, Roby

Wizard Diamond Expert Joined: 4/24/2006 Last visit: 12/1/2023 Posts: 8596 Rating: (1139)	Dear Roby, The only way, it is possible is to use in Alarm View or Window, under properties: Display Alarms and select only Pending alarms. Then when bit is high it shows an alarm, when bit is low it will disappear. When you select Alarm event you will see the internal alarmbuffer. Here you will get a list of the last alarms. Unfortunately you will see when alarm comes and when the same alarm goes away. You cannot change it. Perhaps someone else know another solution? Best regards, Wizard

I thought to use the storical alarms and the alarm call that I need...BUT isn't alarm!! In the line i insert the old variable and the new variable...(see Attachment) every time someone changes a setting machine, log in this way changed what was displaying it as an archive... but if they see two, it is wrong ..... sure that we can not do anything? When you want to archive in a Log file you need a xP277 Then you can also use some scripting in panel. The only possible solution is a change in PLC programm. Whenever you want to 'archive' the message you should toggle the trigger bit. In stead of set bit high and some time later reset bit. You should check status of bit and change it to 'archive' message on panel. Best regards, Wizard

When the alarm's bit is high the warning is shown with an incoming event. When the alarm's bit islow the warning is shown with anoutgoing event. I just want the warning of incoming event but not both. Now is clear? Thank you, Roby I use the panel OP177B. I attach a document that I hope help you to understand what I really want.
