UDF is invalid

UDF is invalid

I need to make a UDF that uses the mathematic instruction block, but it appears as if this makes the UDF invalid. I have created this very simple UDF (see attachment) to test and I can't get it to be accepted as long as I have the mathematic instruction included. What am I doing wrong?

(The actual UDF I need to do is a bit more complicated, but this Test UDF illustrates the problem.)

Hello Jan Ola,

You must terminate all open outputs of a block.

Analog outputs are closed with an analog flag and digital outputs are terminated with a flag or an open terminal.

Using an analog flag didn't help (they also have outputs), but when I pulled the output to an analog comparator and then terminated the boolean output from that one with the "Open connector" then the UDF was accepted!

But this is not right that it only goes with your way.
An analog flag at the output of an analog block is also sufficient. I've been doing this since 2014.

 

You are right, when I changed back to using the flags it worked! I must have done some other mistake the first time...
