UDT String Element Copy within a Function

jford_cs Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I am trying to setup a function that when called looks at two tags (in/out) defined by the same UDT. The functionvalidates the data of the first tag and copies its data to the second tag and returns the updated tag to the user. The problem I am having is the UDT includes a string element andI need to be able to copy the string element of the first tag to the same string element of the second tag. The normal method I use to copy strings (CONCAT instruction) does not seem to work with the UDT string elements passed into the function; it only appears to work with directDB addressing. I amusing LAD programming. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
