I'm experiencing long delays during screen updates, the worst screen taking up to 2 minutes to sort itself out. Is there something that could cause this kind of delay? The worst screen does contain approx. 300 dynamic objects, all controlled via script, but it shouldn't take that long, should it? I'm monitoring using apdiag.exe, and it's not reporting any errors. Thanks.

If so, what is the update cycle of those tag triggers? After the answers we can have a look at the problem. with regards, Ikkezelf

Is it saying I should place a script in the "Open Picture" event, that calls all the tags I am using? Is the 'GetTagMultiWait' command best for doing this? I'm guessing that all the other scripts should not use the 'xxxWait' commands in this case.

Events won't accept triggers (they are effectively triggers themselves), so do I attach the trigger list to a Property of the picture instead? Is there a way to add blocks of tags to the trigger list, or is it only one at a time?

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi Ranr_mid yes, you should attach your trigger to the properties. I dont think, there´sa wayfor adding more than one Trigger at once in this dialog => the triggers are saved in default.pdd but you can´t open this file with notepad.. nemo

Now when I run the script that analyses those tags, the script engine halts. Activating and de-activating the project also now takes longer, for some reason.
