Update OS V18.0.0 into Comfort panel TP1500

Once replaced I only seen that the TP version is 17.0.0.... I'm using TIA V18... But I still can't make the connection between the PLC and the TP... This is error: Thank you Roby

K_Ohjus Gold Member Joined: 3/5/2017 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 778 Rating: (128)	There are no Comfort panel images, Advanced- or professional RT above V17. Those are discontinued products, only unified is actively developed. Check your PLC certificate time and adjust panels clock to that. Basically set panel time same as PLC, that should get communication to work.

Roby Silver Member Joined: 4/10/2006 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 942 Rating: (2)	Hi K_Ohius, after some time I managed to communicate...ok But while loading the software into the TP1500 operator panel this error appeared: ok I downloaded the most recent images from the Siemens site:: at the end of the download I launched the update software...this error came out: I'm using TIA18 and the operator panel is a TP1500 - 6AV2 1240QC02-0AX1 What should I do to load the software into the TP1500?? Thank you Roby

K_Ohjus Gold Member Joined: 3/5/2017 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 778 Rating: (128)	Download and install panel images for V18. You need V18 versions even though images are V17. Panel images EDIT: Did not notice that you already downloaded those. I cannot understand error message.

Roby Silver Member Joined: 4/10/2006 Last visit: 11/11/2024 Posts: 942 Rating: (2)	ah...it just says that at the end of the unpacking it can't find the SIMATIC_WINCC_Legacy_Panel_Images_V18_Upd4.001 file of the part file...but I think it's a problem with the archive I downloaded...it doesn't seem to work even if it extracts all the files in proper way The fact remains that I have not yet understood whether a TP1500 Confort can be connected to a project created with the TIA Portal V18 or I have to throw away the panel (among other things purchased new) and buy a more recent one....we have to ship the machines and this problem is creating a lot of problems for us Thank you Roby

K_Ohjus Gold Member Joined: 3/5/2017 Last visit: 11/8/2024 Posts: 778 Rating: (128)	I installed the V18 images without a problem. Did you download all the files? Yes, you can use previous panels with V18. I use V19 with V17 images and V17 RT without a problem.
