Salut Jacques_Maurice; Use the "Assign address" function in PDM. This FAQ will give you information on the physical requirements: When is it possible to change a field device address? |

Hello Jacques_Maurice; Chook's post explains the settings required to use PDM as a Class 2 master on a Profibus-DP network, when you are using DP/PA couplers. With a DP/PA link you would not have to miti the transmission speed to 45,45 lB. What you are trying to do, connecting PDM through Ethernet to the PLC, then switching to Profibus-DP and the Profibus-PA, is called "routing". Routing requires specific hardware in the programming PC and the PLC: What are the requirements for using SIMATIC PDM Data Record Routing?
