But I can try to explain how I did with the one that's working Selected the tag in the HMI tag list, under "properties" did I select "events" for the tag. Under "value change" did I select "activate screen" and selected the one to be shown. One out of three is working and I can connect any screen to the working one and it pops up every time. This one triggers also the script I used where I compared the tag to be true before it activated the screen, just to see if it only was shown on the tags positive edge. I'm sure I made a stupid mistake somewhere, but I can't find it. I use the same "acquisition cycle" setting for all the tags I use for this function. Inputs and memory bits have been tested to achieve the function. Verified the tags in the panel by selecting visibility of graphic objects, and yes they do change as supposed. The properties for the tags are the same for all of them, only address and label differs. No difference for the screen properties. Contacted the local support here, but they gave up and sent me to the German support team. Now it's only to wait.....

Bryll Posts: 168 Rating: (5)	Hi everyone, Got the reply from the German support, and of course did I do a mistake To trigger a function upon a value change of a tag, will it not be enough to select "activate screen" under "Events" for the tag as I thought. You also need to change the "acquisition cycle" for the tag from "Cyclic in operation" to "Cyclic continious". Haven't tried this yet, will probably do it next week when I have access to the system again. Thought I'd share this info if someone else got stuck trying to trigger something in the panel on a value change of a tag. I'd be more than happy if someone could explain the difference between "Cyclic in operation" and "Cyclic continious". Also why I was able to trigger the page change on one tag and not the other tags.

Also why I was able to trigger the page change on one tag and not the other tags. Hello Bryll, Let's try to explain. "Cyclic in operation" Tag will be updated by update cycle. (Only when tag is used in the screen that you are watching) "Cyclic continious" Tag will be updated by update cycle, all the time. Best regards, Wizard
