Hello RKB, Why don't use a space heater inside your enclosures? Only Siemens support can tell you about performance of their electronics in very low temperature environment. According to this FAQ, ambient temperature may affect CPU clock. At first I was going to suggest SIPLUS modules but I found that eventhough SIPLUS S7-300 modules can work in range of -40 to 60 C, you would be still facing the same problem with SIPLUS S7-400 modules that work only from 0 to 60 degrees. You can find more data about S7-300 modules in this manual. Also S7-400 module data will be helpful. Best regards. H-H |
