Hello. Has anyone tried this communication, Is there any lag between when turning the drive on and off. I would like to change speeds of the drive so that a workpiece comes into position based on the inductive switches. It doesn't need to be 0.1 mm accurate, but still as accurate as possible. So the response from the drives should be quite fast... I will have two drives on the USS network... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Maybe, V20 drive doesn't have a speed accuracy. Because of V/f Control mode with open loop control which is meaning of not having encoder or counter module. So, I just recommend to change G120 EPOS with CU250S-2 at least. This is Speed control with Encoder mode. Also, you can check G120C or G120 with encoderless mode. |

Hello. My application is not a specific positioning application. The drive just needs to slow down when it reaches a proximity sensor and then stop when it reaches the second proximity sensor. I think that I will test it and see if it's ok or not. I will post my findings after my tests... Cheers. Aleix |
