VFD simulation in S7 300 program

respected all,

i want to stimulate third party VFD in s7 300 program (any software can do this, like we can use plcsim to stimulate program logic). i found one post earlier in which a drive can be simulated but it was an example of TIA portal. 

basically i want to get knowledge on how to control VFD but i don't have hardware available physically including cpu,VFD.

thank u for your kind reply, I would like to have one example based on a real industrial process in which one VFD drive is controlled.
so I will understand it better for commissioning a drive practically.

 Depends what PLC you have. 300/400 plc's need PLCsim v5.4. 1200/1500 plc's need the same version of PLCsim that your TIA version is. If i remember correctly, PLCsim is included in the installation package since TIA16 ->
