VISTA Ultimate with STEP7

The software that is placed here is tested and given free for the two versions of VISTA that are mentioned here: MS Windows VISTA 32 Business and Ultimate. Also the FORUM is VISTA-proof, tested by me, however nobody have say that it works, I could do everything that I want. The next software is given free for VISTA: STEP7 V5.4 SP3.1 Service Pack 3.1 for STEP 7 V5.4 and STEP 7 Professional Edition 2006 PLCSIM V5.4 Service Pack 1 for S7-PLCSIM V5.4 S7-GRAPH V5.3 SP4 Service Pack 4 for S7-GRAPH V5.3 S7-SCL V5.3 SP3 (SP4 coming soon, some errors by compiling in SP3) Service Pack 3 for S7-SCL V5.3 and STEP 7 Professional Edition 2006 S7-200 Microwin V4.0SP6 STEP 7-Micro WIN V4.0 Service Pack (SP6) Download SIMATIC NET 2007 SIMATIC NET PC Software Products Edition 2007 based on the SIMATIC NET CD 2007 is released for delivery Distributed Safety V5.4 SP4 S7-Distributed Safety V5.4 + Service Pack 4 Also the FM352/452 package is given free for upgrading to VISTA Configuration Package for Cam Control FM 352 FM 452 V6.0 And SINEMA E is now also given free with version SINEMA E 2006 SP2 Service Pack 2 for SINEMA E 2006 Available for Downloading ET 200S 1SI Serial Interface Function Blocks, Examples and User Manuals for the ET200S 1SI Serial Interface --- new from February 2008 Loadable driver CP PtP DataHighway (DF1) Configuration Software for FM 355-2 Temperature Control Version 6 SP1 Configuration Package for FM 350-1 and FM 450-1 Counter Modules Version 6 Configuration Package for FM 355 - 455 PID Control Version 6 SP1 Loadable driver CP PtP Modbus Master (RTU) V3.1.4 Loadable driver Modbus Slave (RTU) V3.1.5 ----- New from march/april 2008 ---- The package for the FM352-5 High Speed Boolean Processor is given also free for VISTA. After that I switched the option Report System Error on (in the Hardware configuration --> Options --> Report System Error) and I checked that with "CPU Messages" in the "STEP7 Manager". So there where no errors or problems.... I have stillone problem, the drivers of the soundchip, the screen and the CP5611 are not delivered. The wireless connection and the onboard IE port are recognized by VISTA. So I have not yet heared anything of VISTA... --> See INS sugestions that is working fine.

What should you pay attention to when installing Windows Vista Ultimate or Vista Business on the Field PG M? Good luck, I'm curious or this Entry-ID solved it for you.

This version is now also given free for more versions of VISTA Microsoft Vista Home-Basic Microsoft Vista Home-Premium Microsoft Vista Business Microsoft Vista Ultimate Will be continued.

Late Platinum Member Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi, By testing the installing of Microwin V4 + SP6 on VISTA Ultimate I got the following results: After some strubbeling with apackage that you have to install first of a original CD it works, the only strange thing is that you have to download a file from Microsoft for the help in Microwin (mentioned on the end by installer), but if the package started then all help is working.

It works faster then under XP, but on XP I have more software installed. I have 2GB installed RAM. VISTA is more state of the art, with SP1 that is now coming soon it will be working better and better and from now until the end of the year will come all (actual) software available. It is only that I tested it and I want to share this information on the forum.

Smurf Silver Member Joined: 9/28/2005 Last visit: 10/24/2024 Posts: 414 Rating: (28)	Hi Late, I'm very sorry that I was not quit clear in my explanation, I'll give it another try One of the things you can do before installing a new Windows version is copying the file microwin.exe from your STEP7 micro/win install (..\Program Files\Siemens\STEP 7-MicroWIN) to e.g. a floppy. After the Windows install you can copy the microwin.exe file to e.g. C:\. When you start the SP6 install the installation software of MicroWIN starts searching the disks for an earlier install of MicroWIN and recognizes the file microwin.exe in the root of your C disk as an installed version of microWIN.
