I have a laptop with Vista and i have some problem to install Siemens software on it.Is there any solution for this or do i need to go for a laptop with Xp. |

Hello Sebmalex! Of couse yuo can use Step7 in Vista. You just need Edition 2006 SR3! thats it!)) |

Hello Sebmalex; Attached you will find a Siemens document discussing the compatibility of Step 7 (in different versions)and different Windows OS, and also the compatibility of Step 7 with versions of the optional packages offered by Siemens. You will find insidewhich versions of Step 7 can be used with Vista. You also have to understand which version of Vista works with Step 7. Here is how the document describes Vista for use with Step 7: -Vista: Microsoft Windows Vista 32bit Ultimate or Business -Vista SP1: Microsoft Windows Vista 32bit + Service Pack 1 Ultimate or Business Other editions of Vista will not support Step 7.
